It was a beautiful, sunny November day, and the smallies cooperated for part of the time. The size was good, caught one giant, tall, fat majestic smallie. I still think the best fishing action is still coming. I thought I had a seven pounder on, when I first saw the fish in the water. The height, and width of the fish is far more impressive than the length. Even though , it came in at a respectable 20 1/2 inches. Drew came out to the river to test out his luck on the river too. Fun to be out on such a great day with family, taking advantage of such a great fishery! So, biggest fish were 20 1/2, 19 1/2, and four fish at 18 or so. Nice day on the water.
